I think it is about 25 degrees outside, wet, damp cold and just miserable. But I just spent the most wonderful two hours, buried under a heated blanket with a box of tissues watching Wuthering Heights on Turner Classic Movies. Yep, the original version from back in 1939.
OH! It is my most favorite movie,, I own it on VHS and still, when it comes on tv I have to drop everything and watch. Oh Kathy, My Kathy!!
Heathcliff!!
It is soooo romantic with unrequited love... and on a cold damp wintery nite,, it was just perfect.
Now I'll go wipe my eyes, kiss my husband and browse some blogs...
I've seen Wuthering Heights,, all is right with the world.

My movie like this is "Robin Hood." The 1938 version with Errol Flynn and Olivia de Havilland. Oh my. Same thing - I have the DVD (and the VHS!) - but I still watch it whenever it comes up on TV!
This was my FAVORITE book in high school, and it makes me so sad that no one I know has read it (aside from my high school classmates obviously)! I think it's so much more romantic than Romeo & Juliet...why kill yourself for the love of your life when you can just manipulate other people to torture them? Ok, it doesn't sound romantic like that, but still...that's a passion R&J never experienced!
